Hello, Following this news about the SEL35F28Z firmware update 02 issue, there is still no official press release outside of US (link) to confirm that Sony will support affected lenses in the rest of the World. I just bought a SEL35F28Z on Amazon France (I'm in France) and when receiving it, I couldn't update it because of this bug. I sent it immediately to the Sony Center in France explaining the problem and linking the US information, and they sent it back to me repaired (upgraded to 02). No questions, no further checks, free support, so I guess they are aware of the problem and take it in charge as said. Just to inform others
