  1. Hi all, I just received my adapter from techart (for you who are still waiting, i was no 603 in que). My initial impressions is pretty good. Only tested it indoors in quite dim conditions and it perform pretty good. As stated earlier, it also acts as a close-focus adapter which gives pretty crazy effects and bokeh with for example the CY 85/1.4. The Zeiss 85 is a relatively heavy lens, and it works no problem. It has a pretty long focus throw and the adapter doesnt seem to cover the whole focus range when set to infinity, but its easily fixed by simply using it combined with coarse manual focus. the focus appears accurate to me. Its also clear, that while some generic adapters works well with the adapter others wont. Id imagine Im not going to be the only one with theese problems, So i suggest we just list experience here. You CAN buy Techarts own special adapters which are guaranteed to work. Let me start: Fotodiox C/Y to M WORKS. I have so far only tested my CY 85/1.4 Fotodiox FD to M do not fit Next up ill try my canon ltm 50/1.5 Cheers Suras
