  1. Just joined the Sony parade early in 2018. Having great success with my Sony gear (A6500, A7RIII & A7III) & Flashpoint strobes & accessories. Powerful, very accurate. I am having an issue with my Flashpoint R2 Pro 2.4GHz Transmitter for Sony. Overall it works great, but does mis-fire about 10% of the time. There's no pattern/location as to when or where it misfires. Batteries are fresh. I usually have the transmitter trigger 2, Flashpoint eVOLV 200’s, and possibly one of my 2 Flashpoint Zoom Li-on R2’s. There’s nothing wrong with the strobes acting as receivers. Sometimes, I use either of my R2’s, or the Flashpoint Zoom Li-on Mini R2 to trigger one or both of the eVOLV’s. When the R2 transmitter mis-fires, none of the Li-on R2’s receiver(s) or the eVOLV’s fire, so it’s most definitely a transmitter issue. To reiterate, the issue only happens (about 10% of the time) when using the R2, and my Sony bodies are set correctly for flash usage. Any workaround to suggest?
