The recent announcement of two FE lenses made me surprised. With FE 1.8 / 50 mm I was not currently expected. I won´t buy it, because I own the FE 1.8 / 55 mm ZA already. Important for me is the announcement of the FE 70-300 G. So Sony is finally before a telephoto zoom lens with a longer focal length and acceptable weight. I find very interesting a comparison with the corresponding telephoto-zoom to the A-mount: A 4,5-5,6 / 70-300 G SSM II - 16 elements in 11 groups - weight 750 g - Filter 62 mm, FE 4,5-5,6 / 70-300 G OSS - 16 elements in 13 groups - weight 854 g - Filter 72 mm Apparently Sony has calculated the FE lens completely new! One may be curious.
