  1. I have had my new A7ii for 3 months and have been very happy with it. When I turned it on today the LED screen came on, then shut off, and repeated this process two more times before staying off for good. I powered off the camera and then powered on again with the same result. There is no opportunity to get to any of the menus or operate any buttons. I changed the lens, the battery, the memory card with the same result. I checked each button to see if there were any that were stuck, but could not identify any that were not working properly. Again, the same boot problem. I found the following description of a hard reboot in this forum and completed this 2X, with a different lens each time with the same boot problem. Remove the memory card, remove the lens and put on the caps when camera is off, turn camera on, pop battery out, wait one minute, put lens back on, pop battery back in, let camera start up to see if it functions normally. Any suggestions? Any idea what is halting the boot process? If I need service, is this something that should go to a local authorized repair center or should it go back to Sony? Thanks for any advice!
