  1. My wife has an A77 (European version) that she used extensively during many boat trips out on the ocean. It has held up surprisingly well. At some point the joystick would not respond to movement to the left, but that issue resolved itself. The shutter count is 110,000 and the shutter shows no signs of giving up. However, recently she has been noticing a fuzzy halo around bright objects. I cannot produce the effect by bumping up exposure, the object has to be physically lit up brightly, such as when it's bright outside. I tried cleaning the sensor, the mirror, the lens. I tried another lens. I switched Steady Shot on and off. So far nothing made any difference, so I fear the electronics may have gotten damaged by humidity or something like that, but before I sell it as-is, I would like to ask around whether someone had the same experience and/or could think of a solution that I have not thought of. Thanks in advance. - Marinus
