Continous AF with Commlite

Hi, I recently added a commlite smart adapter to use with my canon EF lenses. It seems I can only use single shot AF only. Is this the case when using adapters or a limitation of commlite?

Generally, all adapted EF lenses provide

rather slow AF operation, so it's possible

that engaging continuous AF would be so

futile that perhaps it is blocked. ?

   

All of my EF lenses have slow live view AF

even when used on Canon bodies ... same

EF lenses that AF rather quickly on Canon

bodies via the SLR viewfinder. It's as if EF

lenses don't like live view, no matter which

camera brand they're attached to. 

  

Metabones makes the most advanced of

all the adapters out there, and they warn

that their "Smart" adapters for EF lenses

AF so slowly that, for non-static subjects,

the resulting AF will not be very useful.

Adapting any lens is going to make it slow. Im so glad i never sold my d610.
