March 13, 20187 yr I switched over from full frame Nikon to the a7riii, I love the camera and the images and prints I produce with it. There is one problem, it's a huge problem for me. 70-200 is my go to lens for nighttime cityscape photography, it's what I sell the most of in metal prints. However with the 70-200GM I am having a terrible time getting a long exposure image perfectly sharp. I can shoot the same exact scene with the 90mm Sony macro and the photo is perfect. I need a perfect 70-200 and for the price they are charging these should be zero issues. Is anyone else having problems like this with this lens? Is there anything in the Sony world I am missing that would fix this. Yes my tripod is perfectly stable so there is no chance of it shaking during the exposure and I use a shutter remote as well. Thanks in advance for any helpful response.
