I wanted to get a shot of my friend on the rock, and he wanted one with the splash on the rock. Turns out the tide had other ideas. Right after I took this shot he saw a big wave coming so he booked it! I kept shooting until my viewfinder got dark. I distinctly remember looking up at a wall of water that was gushing up over the rock I was hiding behind! I immediately ran up into the rocks!     a7rII, 70-200mm f4
