I have been using the Sony a7RII with the 85mm GM F1.4 and love it. But I did notice an issue with a purple flare from a wedding this weekend. Flare was fine, but I noticed some lines going through the flare. Has anyone experienced this? Anyone know why that would happen?

Quite scary, I think you should ask to Sony support..

Maybe it is caused by direct sun on sensor but that is a BSI sensor, it should be a block of silicon with no "texture".

Is this image straight from the camera? Has it been processed and or printed and then scanned for this post? I ask because the lines look exactly like a printing issue...
