Russian site publishes A7000 specs. Probably fake.

Can't get the site working on mobile, the specs on the screenshot (28MP, no more practical info) can happen, we'll hopefully see the rest. From my side, I am waiting for top quality full-sensor readout 4k video, higher than 100Mbit/sec-8bit. Probably not going to happen:(

Any news on CES 2016 Vegas this week?

If the 28MP is true it's the Samsung NX1 sensor.

That and a video capable auto focus that's not miles behind the A6000 / GH4

Whatever happened to that rumored "9 Pro series" from Sony...?  That would seem like the candidate Sony might feel generous enough to enable more than 100Mbit/sec.

Personally, I think most of the more annoying shortfalls in the A7 are not due to technical issues, but due to Sony's model strategy for maximum cash extraction - make sure the A series is a few cups short of a set, so it doesn't encroach too far on their professional camcorders.  I remember their trickery very well from the days when Sony held the highest hand, before Apple became big with iPods and iPhones.

Personally, I much hope Canon will release an absolutely stunning full frame mirrorless camera at CP, just to force Sony to clean up some of the deeper potholes in their $3000 cameras.

haha  :)

I bet we'll see that come to pass.  Sony using a Samsung sensor ...next we'll see Sony replacing Bionz with Skylake or something ^^
