January 30, 201510 yr Here's my scenario: I'm going to shoot some interiors that contain a lot of fine detail. I'll have to use a SEL16F28 16mm f2.8 cropped format APS-C) lens to shoot these pictures. I know this lens is not Sony's finest effort, but this one was hand picked from several others and performs pretty well. I have access to three camera bodies, a NEX 5n, a NEX 7 and a new Alpha 7 DSLR (FF). I understand what happens with this lens on the A7 full-frame also. I also realize the file sizes generated between the three cameras. My question though, is ,overall, which body, when combined with this lens, is going to give me the highest resolution images with all their limitations taken into consideration?

May 7, 201510 yr Seconded. Now if you need some really fine details you could shoot that scene with a better, longer lens, like the 24f18Z or the 30mm Sigma and stitch an image from a number of captures. I do it all the time, no big deal, lots of fun and killer files. Edit: just realized that the thread started in January, lol.
