I have just bought this brilliant A58 camera 2nd hand but am having a bit of difficulty formatting the memory card. All the instructions say that there is a format menu option on the 1 menu but it is not there on my camera. Can anyone help me to sort this out please?

It's not in the '1 menu' it's in the memory card menu.

I would stand up in court and state that this item wasn't on my menu but there it is and I have formatted the card. Thank you very much.
