Red LED on back stays on when I turn off the A74 camera

Does anybody know why the Sony A74 back red LED stays on when I turn off the camera when I use it on a Ronin RS4 Pro? This happens even when I turn off the gimbal. Example: when I'm using the camera with the gimbal and decide to turn both off, the red LED on the camera stays on. Not sure why this happens. FYI, when the camera is not used on a gimbal the red LED turns off as expected. Any idea why this is happening? or is this normal?

Does it stay on permanently, or does it shut off after a while? The camera has connectivity settings that allow it to connect even when turned off. It probably sees the gimbal and is trying to connect. try turning off all connectivity and see if it still happens. I think that camera has airplane mode. If so, try that.
