So I just got a K&F tripod and shot some video in low light the other night. I am excited to get in on my Mac and edit. I shot some B-Roll to add to the video.

My whole purpose with the A7iv was to be able to shoot good photos and video. I have so much to learn. Excited for the future projects. I was hoping it would be a little more intuitive but each day, each video and conversation, I learn something. I wish there were more auto features I could start with because it's hard to tell if it's going to be crisp or not. I'm trying to follow my favorites on YT but the info is so varying. Once I get this edited, I'll post a version so ya'll can tell me what I did wrong. :)

Hello Erock77,

Take a look here: First Video using A7iv . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

Not a video guy, but I'll be happy to take a look at your work!

Note, future videos will be better. I sat this up on a tri pod and hit record. From there, I captured some b-roll but I did make some poor edit choices but the circumstances were not normal. I am super excited to get this all down. Tonight I am going to give Davinci Resolve a go. I want a good platform for editing. Thanks for watching.

When I went to try Davinci Resolve last night, I couldn't import 4K into it due to codec? I did some troubleshooting.

Everywhere I saw, I hear them say use a 3rd party app to convert but I'm not interested in doing that.

I'd rather find a free version that compares to DR. Thoughts anyone?
