Disabling focus hold buttons on Sony SEL100400GM

I want to disable all three focus hold buttons on my Sony SEL100400GM. According to Sony support, it´s possible to customize the function of these buttons to "not set" thereby disabling them, but neither on my A7R3 or my A6300 do I get access to that function, when I go to Custom keys "Focus Hold Button". It seems that menu relates to the focus hold button on the camera bodies not the the focus hold buttons on the lens. Apparently many other people have the same problem. Here´s just an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xeb2IgLVNw Sony support seems clueless. What would you do?

Configure browser push notifications
