The SEL1224G is an awesome lens and doing bracketed 5 @ +/- 1 ev or 3 @ +/- 2 ev all day, you may never see it again so you want all the info you can get of the shot. The Dynamic Range of the Canyon is so great you need a Sony and it's onboard tools.
