A7 iii & old elinchrom transmitter/receivers

How would it be possible to connect the transmitter to the camera without using the pc sync chord connection?
Does it work directly on the hot shoe?

I have the old transmitter/receivers.

You should be able to find hot shoe fitting with a plug in the side for your connector  quick search finds https://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/cords__offcamera_control/kaiser_1300_hot_shoe_adapter/6036_p.html

The Skyport has a standard hot shoe connection. It should work directly on your camera's hot shoe. If it does not, you may have to either push the skyport a little further ahead due to the resistance caused by the numerous connectors in the camera shoe and if this does not work, you may need to shave off a little portion of the plastic on the front portion of the Skyport
