How do you store a color temp in a custom WB slot?

Hi all.

Just started using an A7s II and I'm having a problem setting white balance. Actually, three problems.

1. Attempting to acquire a custom WB from a white card results in a bizarre green screen and a "Custom WB error" message. I'm not using an overly bright or overly dark surface. I'm using SLog2 because my primary application is video and I require this curve.

2. If I set a Kelvin temperature manually, there's no apparent way to store it in one of the custom WB slots.

3. If I try to change the temperature of one of the custom WB slots directly, there's no apparent way to do it. All you can do is move the white point around on a grid... and the custom WB remains named "5500K," which is the name of all the custom WBs.

Can anybody tell me what's going on here? Thanks!
