FE 90 mm Macro Depth of Field Examples

Diffraction becomes a problem with smaller apertures (f9-11). Focus stacking and a tripod can help with that, using a larger aperture and combining several images. I use Helicon software for stacking, but there are many others, and you can achieve a depth of field which is not possible from a single exposure. Its worth trying it out!

Does the 90mm have a reproduction ratio scale? Numbers like 1:1 1:2 1:3 1:4. What I tend to do is set a ratio, say 1:3, and then rock the camera back and forth until the part of the subject I want in focus is sharp.

With the FE 90, you should get some great possibilities!
