I started getting SD Memory Card Locked message today on my a380.

I tried a different card, taking out the battery for a bit, just using AC adapter, but still getting the message.

The other card (Memory Stick PRO Duo) still works.

Any fixes or suggestions?

Check the little tab on the card. It can be used to lock the card to prevent accidental erasure.it slides to lock and unlock.

That's the first thing I checked, but the card(s) I tried were not locked.

Could it be a problem with this switch?

I don't think so because the other card works

Put the card[s] in your computer, save

their contents, then discard them.

Back when, we did not use film that

had been in a fire or otherwise gotten

ruined, even if it appeared to be OK.

Same principle.

I'm not trying to reuse the old card.

I've tried numerous cards and still get SD Memory Card Locked message.
