A7R III keep the focus area always in the center

an old and bad habit probably but I like to keep the focus area always in the center, but it moves, and if I'm not careful I end up with the focus on the bottom right or left and my picture is fuzzy

there is an option for the focus area to stay still and always in the middle whatever you do?

I think you can set the Focus Area to Center (or Center Lock-On) … should be in the menu… 

 

I think there are options to disable touch focus (via the display) and joystick as well…

Also just as an FYI, if you're moving the spot focus around and want it in the center quickly you can simply press the joystick in like a button. That makes the focus area snap to center.

I have had problems in the past of having my nose move the focus spot when the touch pad is active!
