Nikon full frame lenses to E mount adaptor?

Recommended Posts

I'm new to Sony, in fact not even an owner yet.  I have the a7III on order.  I see there are a few AF mounts to fit Nikon full frame lenses.  Can anyone recommend one?  I want to still own both my D5 and the Sony- different system for different situations, and ideally would love to use all my Nikon glass.  Thanks!

The only real working acapter I know is the Commlite CM-ENF-E1 PRO.

http://www.commlite.com/product/8.html

I have a D800 and a a7RIII and use my Nikon glass with the E-Mount.

The difference to original Sony glass: The AF is a little bit slower.

All functions are workung well..

No problem with the fisheye 16mm, 50mm (f1.4), 16-36mm, 24-105mm, 28-300mm, 60mm micro.

Have a look at the list of supportes glasses on their homepage.

The AF of the AIII is fast as the A7RIII.

Sorta kinda maybe good news ?

Either high function adapters are ... finally ... maturing,

or OTOH maybe it's just that Nikon lenses are simply

more agreeable to "alien" tech ? IOW, Canon EF lens

tech just might forever remain problematic, and Nikon

will become the favorite brand for broadening the lens

line-up of the Sony E-mount. I guess time will tell.
