Sony A7S II lines either side of frame

Hello,

 

Recently on two different occasions these large vertical blurry lines have appeared each side of my frame.

Im using a Sony A7S II with the Sigma MC-11 Canon Mount with Sigma 24mm 1.4, they have only appeared when using the 24mm, when switching to any other lens they disappear. 

This issue seems to be in no way consistent which is why it's so confusing, it's randomly happened twice and then has disappeared since, I have tried everything I can think of.

 

I have attached a screenshot showing the problem.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or anything similar?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's either the adapter or a "tulip" lens hood. 

It's not hurting anything, no reason to expect 

it to get worse, so no reason to worry about 

it appearing only sporadically. 

   

Looks to me more likely to be the tulip hood. 

The effect will appear at some combinations 

of FL, focus distance, and aperture.
