Best Zoom Lens for A7rii (Video)?

Hey, I'm looking to get a zoom lens - maybe the 24-105mm G - for video work with my A7rii. 

It's to shoot doc, run and gun, where I won't have much control over what's happening. Because of this I need a lens that's great for autofocusing. I saw this autofocus video (below) for the GM lens which looks amazing. 

 

Problem is I feel this will be too big and bulky for me to shoot with for long periods of time. Plus it's really expensive. 

Wondering if the 24-105mm has the same sort of autofocus features for video?

 

Any advice on this or other zooms that can handle everything would be amazing.

The lenses use the same autofocus functions. There are always differences in autofocus speed and accuracy between lenses. If that is your first priority, you should try lenses before you buy. The way autofocus feels is very immediate when you try gear.
