A9 : new firmware available

I didn't put the firmware number in the title, so maybe we can recycle this thread from time time, as new versions become available.

 

Anyway, latest firmware as of 11th of January 2018 is v2.00 .

I've installed it using OSX High Sierra, using their supplied "driver loader 10.13" support program first. Kind of a finicky procedure, but in the end it worked and the camera now shows the new version.

I could not make the firmware update work  with  OSX El Capitan, but worked fine on another computer with more recent OS.

I can also confirm that the installation over high Sierra worked without problem. Finally, Sony has support for high Sierra!
