keepcoding
Hi On my A6000 I was able to zoom into the photos in playback mode just with the wheel. On the A7rIII, I now need to press a stupid button before I can zoom. Is there a way to change this? I mean there are 3 dials, and all seem to do the exact same thing (scrolling through the images). Advertisement Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Hi keepcoding, Take a look here A7rIII: Zoom into photos in playback mode with wheel. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
markfireblade
As I recall you had to push the AEL button, which doubled up as the magnify button in playback mode, on the a6000, before twiddling the wheel. My later a6300 is similar but incorporates the AF/MF switch there too.

Check the custom button settings in playback mode.
