Absolutely amazing pictures!

Clearly shows, that even all the fuss is about A7 series/A9/E-mount, we might actually have the real star of the Sony line-up here!

Sadly it´s pretty much ignored from even Sony itself, and largely from the foto-media´s, that think that Sony is all about A7´s and E-mount!

The A99II is hard to beat - the competition from Canon and Nikon can´t!

Hi, I have the Sony A99m2 and I am looking for options on ring flashes for macro work.

Does any of the members have any experiences on ring flashes for the A99m2 that they could kindly share with me.

I am nervous about compatability with the A99m2.

      Many Thanks Steve

I am interested to find out if the new A99m2 can write to the new Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-II spec cards. (I am not sure if this is the best forum to post this question? Admins, if not please move it to the best location.)

These have up to 260 Mb/S write speed.

      They are also U3 spec.

The User manual only talks of U3 spec required to take 4K video in the highest quality. (When recording in 100 Mbps or more, UHS Speed Class U3 ( ) is required.)

For sports photography I need to be able to utilise the high burst speed for as long as possible and clearing the buffer at the fastest possible rate will help.

Has anyone used these memory cards on the A99m2?

Is it worth the extra money?

      Thank you.

      An interesting update!

Impelled by GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome), yesterday I visited the Sony Store on the lot of Sony Pictures Studios.

      See pics here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.735923973210728.1073741834.100003793952479&type=1&l=5be36c2bde

I wanted to buy an A7Rii but they were out of stock. I asked a store employee about the arrival of the A6100 and he replied that he was not aware of this camera but would check online. He then went to sonyalpharumors.com (LOL) and exclaimed, "Yes! An A6100 is coming soon!"

I then asked if they had any A99's for a reasonable price. He replied that they only had a demo that they could sell for $1,500, however he wouldn't recommend buying it because the A99m2 is coming soon! I asked if he was sure of that fact and he said, "A trusted Sony insider told him that the A99m2 is coming soon and that he (the insider) is excited because he's a photographer and is looking forward to using it!"
