Sketch of a Nikon design for providing NF-mount compatability with a Nikon FF live-view body. Essentially same as a Sony LA-EA4 providing A-mount compatability on an E-mount body. I doubt there's any patent problem here. Both Sony and Nikon are simply taking their own existing SLR AF mechanism and stuffing it into a short tube with an SLR front flange plus a live view rear flange on its front and rear ends, all just existing mechanisms in a new can.
