Sony a68 or a6500

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. First time on the forum [emoji3]. I bought an a68 last week and kind of wish I would have bought the a6500. Should I return it or just buy a nice lens for my a68 (16-24mm)?

I'm a casual photographer that loves landscapes, some HDR and taking portraits of my grandkids. I really enjoy hopping into my jeep and going to the Blue ridge Parkway in the Smokies and getting mountainous shots.

Thanks in advance for any info and input you guys may have.

Redturn the a-mount and switch to e-mount. The

a6500 is the BEST e-mount. You'd be upgrading

from the a-68 which is midrange. Bother cameras

are similar in capabilities but a-mount is doomed,

so bail out during the return privelege period.

Yeah, return it. The A68 is a great camera if you have a set of A Mount lenses and want to upgrade from an older body.

But if you are starting a new system, look at E Mount. As you are a landscape photographer, you should raise your sights to the A7 series. The larger sensors will make a big difference. You could be looking at A7II for not much more money than the A6500.

Ok. Took you guys advice. I bought the a6500

and the 18-105 G just to get rolling.

I would looooove to have that outfit. Enjoy !

Exactly that combo is in the hands-on display

at the local Best Buy store. I fondle it regularly :-)
