Does anyone know why Sony (or 3rd parties) can't make a better adapter for their A-mount SSM and SAM lenses? For example, the relatively inexpensive Sony 28-75 f2.8 is a really good lens. I've tried several copies and they make sharp, contrasty images. However, the AF on my E-mount bodies (a9 & a6500) is hampered by the paucity of focus points. The limiting factor is obviously not the bodies, and I don't think it's the lenses. It seems to be the adapter!
I'm new to photography but I will attend photography classes/lessons because I want to learn more and become better..
I really like almost any kind of photography but mostly street, landscapes, cityscapes, astrography, light trails, star trails and timelapse videos.. I use the Sony A6000 with the kit lens (16-50mm) , a Neewer 35mm F1,7 and a Goko 70-210mm F4 and all I want to ask is If I can use any of these lenses for astrography/star trails and If yes whice lens..
Also, any recommendation of any lens that is more appropriate for this kind of staff is more than welcome.
since I'm a new member of this community and generally relatively new to photography, I would like to apologise in advance for any mistake..
To the topic now, I'm very keen on street photography. I love capturing buildings and in general i love landscape photography. I want to upgrade my lens so I really don't know which lens should i buy in order to shoot sharp and easily buildings/architecture, landscapes, sky and stars and of course night photos.
I really don't know if it would be better to purchase Samyang 12mm f2.0 or something similar.
