Apologies if this has been covered before.

I've been trying to install Capture One Express on my PC. It downloads OK but won't install as it insists on having a 64 bit version of Windows - I have 32 bit Windows 10.

Is there a 32 bit version? I wasn't given any options when I started the download or install process....

Thanks

Mark

If you do get it to run in 32 its going to be VERY laggy, this program needs lots of power and memory.

I had it running on an older 64 bit system, and it was many seconds after moving an adjustment slider to see the effect.  Local adjustment in layers was unusable because I couldn't draw the masks in real time.

These are worthwhile upgrades, so even if it feels frustrating, CaptureOne is doing you a favour.

When I had 8Gb ram, I couldn't run any other programs alongside C1, or my memory would run out.

If you have the time, it's always worthwhile to do a clean install. It's quite simple these days as you can make a bootable USB drive directly on Microsoft's web page.

It's a bit boring to reinstall all apps, but usually it's faster and less frustrating than continuously wrestling with a faulty Windows installation.
