Good morning everyone!

Just wondering your initial thoughts in regards of the use of the new a99ii for landscape photography...

As the tech - specs looks similar to the a7rii in terms of dynamic range & resolution + some others, may you consider to move to this new camera, even knowing the A-mount aspect?

It's not hugely different from any other FF

camera, and many landscape shooters

seem happy using the FF digital format.

IBIS allows you to access locations that

might be a PITA hauling a tripod. When

you DO bring a tripod, it's cool to have a

live view camera that doesn't require you

to squint at the rear LCD while using your

hat to shade it from the sun, cuz you also

have live view in the eyepiece :-)

You could have FF, IBIS, and a live view

eyepice finder with an a7-II series body,

but the a99-II has a much bigger battery,

and bigger bottom surface for the tripod.

I prefer the a7-II series, despite the dinky

batteries, cuz I depend on vintage lenses.

i see the advantage of the 99II in robustness, AF speed, handling and batterie live

same like GOLEM i prefer the A7 Body´s because of using Leica Lenses ......so no need for AF and i like the compactness, but they are a little bit delicate/flimsy

my shutter button broke........ so i glued it, but it is very week plastic,

also the rubber grip start´s to disintegrate after 1 year, not so with my A77 Body

i think the A-Mount Body´s are much better made for outside, long-live and Tripod use

also the lens collection is different
