Is there any way to confirm that a new topic has been submitted while awaiting moderation?

I fear I may have posted the same new topic twice today. I posted this morning, but when I checked my content in my profile this evening, nothing was there. So I tried it again, but I still don't see a draft or any indication that I have a topic awaiting moderator approval.

 

So the other question is, how long does it usually take for a post to be moderated? No rush! I just want to make sure my topic has been submitted. Thanks!
