Lens adapter (why not the A6000?)

Recommended Posts

I have an A6000. For the past couple of days I have been searching the web for a Nikon F to E-mount full function adapter (AF, Exposure, etc.). I see one for the A6300. Is the A6000 so different that they cant make them compatible?

Does anyone know if one exists?

179 phase detection points vs 425 on the A6300. The sensor is completely different. Also the copper wiring on the A6300 will increases AF processing speed.

The Nikon adapter will probably "work" but that adapter won't "work well". So I think the manufacturer isn't claiming compatibility because of the returns.

The Metabones adapter for Canon has similar issues. It only works well on the A7Rii or A6300  The A7Rii has 399 points.
