Sony A2R2 Level is not correct horizontal

Hi

 

I am using the level gauge in the finder and on the display, however it is not showing horizontal (green level) when the camera is placed horizontally. Is there any way I can adjust the level myself?

Do you meant that the gauge is not showing green at all, even when the camera is level, or that when the green is lit that the camera is not correctly horizontal?

 

Unfortunately, to be honest, I don't think there is a user fix in either case. I'm not sure what might cause the green not to light up, but if the camera is still at an obvious angle when it is lit could mean that the anti-shake has failed, or the sensor is mis-aligned. In either case I think it will have to be returned to Sony for calibration, or repair.

I just got it fixed by a helpful Alex at the Sony Esupport. Changed firmware from 1.00 to 3.00. Works fine now. The level showed green however not when in horizontal, had to tilt the camera to get green level. Thanks
