Their current lens lineup that mostly favours premium lenses for FE is the right approach in the early days, maybe the next releases will be balanced with more mid-range options as they push Full Frame towards the mainstream.

 

But seven more lenses? That's more than anyone dared hope for. Presumably not shipping untill 2016 but it shows they are really serious about taking the DSLR market.

 

Once the lack of lens choice is solved it'll be interesting to see how Sony advertise this full-on push against Canon&Nikon - merely having better products isn't enough to dislodge the leaders. (Their lenses must be similar due to the laws of physics, but hopefully future bodies won't also have to mimic a DSLR in size & style in order to be taken seriously by the market).

I hope all those 7 lenses are about the same size of the 28/2 and not the SLR sized 35/1.4.  If that happens, the system will rock.

 

Also, i hope they strengthen their flash system with radio wireless connection.

It (kind of) makes sense to me that there was no new information about the Photokina lenses at CP+. It seems to point to a much bigger announcement sometime with details and prices of lots of lenses to support an announcment of an A9? and A7000?

Wonder when that FE 24-240 is going to be available? That could be my "one and only" if it's really sharp thru the range.
