I agree with @big0bum, I wear glasses and have never had a problem with any of Sony's stock eye cups. The good news is that there are plenty of inexpensive third-party manufacturers on Ali and eBay that you can try until you find one you like.
I've never tried another eyecup for Sony, but I did change the original one of Fuji. The Fuji eyecup was big (surface) but at the same time it increased the distance from the EVF making the corners and margins of the EVF harder to see. I went with a round eyecup for Fuji that allwoed me to get my eye closer to the EVF screen and always used the "zoom out" mode of the EVF. Basically it takes the image and makes it smaller. Just something to keep in mind.
