Hi everyone, this is my second full thread here. The last time, I posted thread about landscape photography of lake Baikal during winter.

This time, I will share my works from my two Japan trips during last autumn (around late October to early November last year) and summer (around late July this year).

.

.

I processed all of my works by using adobe photoshop and/or adobe photoshop lightroom.

.

.

All of my gears using during these two trips are as following;

Sony A7

Sony A7s

Sony Vario-Tessar FE T* 16-35mm f/4.0 ZA OSS

Sony Vario-Tessar FE T* 24-70mm f/4.0 ZA OSS

Sony FE 70-200mm f/4.0 G OSS

Sony Sonnar FE T8 55mm f/1.8 ZA

Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM (with Metabones Smart Adapter EF to E mount Mark IV)……I used this lens during the autumn trip due to the FE 16-35/4 was just launched and I didn’t own one.

.

..and with that beautiful photographs, who said that the FE24-70 is soft..

I agree with some complaint about this lens. However, considering that it's only one native standard zoom lens of this system, I have no other option if I want to use a lens without adapter. Moreover, after I used it several times, I think I can ignore its downside . ^^

Really like the shots which lead me back to your other thread of Russia and really enjoyed those also! but on nearly every image my eye kept getting drawn to the watermark. :( personally I would drop the opacity, or place it in the frame uniquely for each image to minimize the draw it has.

Thanks for your recommendation :)

Thanks for your recommendation :)

just my meaningless 2 cents :P

also I would like to point out that one aspect that I really liked about your Japan series was the variety of images. sometimes the same subject was used but how you photographed it was unique, not just in the obvious composition, but if the feel/mood of the image. Which for me made going through the images a joy. minus the watermark :P.  I especially like 1-10 and 3-17.

Wow.... just, wow!

I literally signed up to this board to say how impressed I am with those photos. You have a great eye for light, color, composition and focus.

Hopefully you get to keep travelling. I think you'd love it here in New Zealand if you ever get the chance. I think you could do our scenery justice :)

Thanks for your comment. I am going to New Zealand next week, I hope I will get some nice photos from there. :)
