LR Tethering Not Working W A7RV

I updated LR to the most recent update and was excited about the  tethered capture to LR. I updated my Sony A7rV to the latest firmware, deleted all the Imaging Edge software, restarted my macbookpro and tried to tether the camera using a TetherPro cable however LR doesn't recognize the camera and just spins in the Detecting Camera popup. I tried connecting and disconnecting the cable and the wheel just spins. Yes the camera is on and actually shows the icon that it's connected via USB but LR doesn't connect. Anyone else having this problem and how did you fix it? Thanks!

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
