A7RV EVF Noise

So I understand that with a 61 MP sensor you're going to get more noise. But the amount I am getting in low light is just terrible. Worse in the EVF, but very poor on LCD screen as well. So much, that it is often hard to tell what I'm focusing on in night shots. My Canon R5 in the same conditions shows black, as in not a hint of noise. See attached images.
