I have tried 3 different Godox flashes; 3 hot shoe adapters; 3 different transmitter/receiver adapters...all claimed to work with Sony multi-interface (type) hot shoe.  NONE WORKED.

I love my Nex 6 except for the unusable hot shoe.  Short of giving in and buying a $$$ dedicated external Sony flash, what else can I do to use my Sony Nex 6 hot shoe? 

Have I missed something in the flash setup menu? Please advise.  Please include brand name(s) and model(s) of workable solutions, if possible.  Regards.

Hello, it’s funny I has a Panasonic fz100 bridge camera a years ago So I bought a speedlite for it. The flash trigger I bought that works with my Sony NEX-6. My flash works also by itself on the nex-6 which was designed for Panasonic. Below is the flash trigger and receiver I purchased off Amazon 2 years ago and have not had any issues with it.
