SONY A77 vertical grip gives "Non compatible battery message

Hello everybody

I have an A77ii and a coresponding battery grip.

When inserting a batery on position 1 gives the "Non compatible battery message"

When inserting the same  batery on position 2 everything works fine

When inserting both bateries I get again the "Non compatible battery message"

Tried with a combination of 4 Sony batteries results are the same !!!

All batteries work Ok when used in the camera.

Well I repeated all those tests with my other camera a Sony A77 with identical results.

Tried to find an answer in the web with no luck - the closest to an answer was "This is a known problem with Sony grips"!!!!!!

Is there a way to solve the problem ?? Its there an official answer from SONY ???
