Hi everyone, i'm new to the forums! 🙂

So I have a Sony A7RII full frame camera that i'm trying to use for shooting videos with vintage manual lenses.

From what i gathered around the web, the best settings are:

-Super35
-Log2 PP7
-ISO turns automatically to AUTO (i cant change it)
-Aperture: F8 to F11 for sharpness and everything in focus (i shoot mostly landscapes)
-4K @ 24p
-Shutter at 50 or higher

Am i doing anything wrong ? What's the best solution for adjusting the exposition, should I lower the aperture to F16, F22 and so on, so getting a less sharper image ? Or should i change the EV settings on the camera little wheel on the right ? How do i get the right exposure when the sun is too bright for example ?

Sorry for the noobish questions but i haven't really found a lot of good answers on the web regarding a manual lens for shooting videos.

Thanks for your attention 🙂
