StudioGalvan
I've been using this little APSC Camcorder for shooting weddings. The color & contrast is awesome in normal scenes but in High contrast scenes, shadow and/or highlights are lost. If I didn't have to match other cameras w/wider profiles, it wouldn't bother me so much but ... I came across several European advertisements that boasted "advanced dynamic range optimiser" in sony vg30 which "Adjusts exposure and contrast for natural results in high-contrast scenes and backlit portraits" If you'd like to see yourself ...https://www.google.com/search?q=sony+vg30+"advanced+dynamic+range+optimiser" That would make this 11yr old camera very acceptable for my wedding videography needs. However, this feature is not in my manual nor have I been able to find it in a through search of the cameras menus. Are you aware of this feature and how it is accessed? Welcome, dear visitor!
