Sony a7s3 does not recognize any memory card

My Sony camera just stopped recognizing the memory cards out of nowhere.

I went into despair because I tested other cards that I had and it didn't read AND IT DIDN'T FORMAT in any of the two slots.

Intuitively I saved all my files on the computer, then switched my camera to PAL format and put the camera to format in the first slot. BOOOMM...she formatted it, so I redid the process with slot 2 and formatted it too.

I went back to the format that was NTSC and the camera worked perfectly with the formatted cards.

I hope to help someone with this information around the Sony world!

Oh man, you just saved so much time. I just updated to firmware 3.0 and thought that was the cause, so was about to waste a bunch of time on a red herring.
