How to play back video during shoot with Imaging Desktop?

Hi all,

Apologies if this is already a discussion somewhere else in this forum- please post me a link if so. But I couldn't find anything.

I'm shooting video, controlling my a6400 with the imaging desktop app for PC. Is there a way I can play back the video without having to close down the app and remove the SD card? Seems like I must be missing something, this is a ridiculous workflow. Is the "viewer" only useable for photos?

What might I be missing here??

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
