Selling gear

Looking for alternative places to sell gear. The well-known KEH, adorama, MPB, and BandH I know of. Just looking for a more direct person sell no middleman. I believe my camera is worth more than what they have offered me. Are they forums I can post gear for sale?

Yes, I have had success in using Mercari, https://www.mercari.com and OfferUp, https://offerup.com.  Both have iOS apps.  Don’t know about Android.

Specialist dealers will give you a fair price, but they have to take into account their profit, and still give a fair sale price.

If you sell privately you have teethe problems of providing the service, letting buyers inspect the camera, postage etc. 

To me, the hassle is not worth the extra bucks and, like you, I'm not a fan of E bay or similar, because I think they encourage the fencing of stolen goods.

Agree with thebeardedgroundsman, easier to use a specialist than to try to sell yourself. I have had great success using MPB for both selling equipment as well as purchases.
