Hi to you all.

I have in the past week or so moved from a Pentax K3 to an A7iv.
Part of me misses the K3, it has over 10 years put up with a lot of abuse, landscapes in the rain, crawling on a Norfolk beach in the winter photographing seals.

I’m sure I’ve dropped it a couple of times and apart from the odd scratch to the paint work it just kept going.

However, it just wasn’t keeping up anymore with wanted from a camera. I’m shooting more and more wildlife. So after much research, (I almost went with a Fujifilm XH2S) I got an A7iv with a secondhand 24-105 and a 200-600.

You are Sony shooters I do not need to tell you it’s virtues, but for me the autofocus is just so far beyond what I had with the Pentax.

Spent the past week getting to grips with the menu, the autofocus options, setting custom buttons and just the general handling.

i have a wildlife shoot next week I think it’ll be it’s first outing.
