Hi I had the same thing, but only the first time i used the adapter. After that it stayed. But I must say that sometomes the camera behave a little strange,, seems to be hanging and yesterday I had strange coloroed lines around the display.
It was an adapter fro m Aliexpress. Maybe I should check the voltage and the signal that comes out of it with my oscilloscope.
Do not want to ruin my A6300. Maybe ther are adaters that can be used with two of the originall batteries, that would be safer. I go look into that.
Please help...
Hi , I have Sony A6300 with 55-210mm lens, loses the manual focuspoint after I switch over to the Sony built in Timelaps app.
After a few clear pictures in the timelaps app, it loses focus. I tries time and time againg.
I must say this object is very faint in the live viewer it is nearly not visible. I dont know if that has something to do with it? That the software deceides it cannot us MF anymore?
I have shot more clear Astro objects where there was no focus loss even after 150 picture after another in timelaps. So normally whith brigter objects.
I am using a startracker AZ-GTI to make long exposure possible.
Bad picture.

This picture her under is the last picture that had still focus. In the middel is the M13 starcluster. I need lots of pictures to stack together to get a clear icture of the starclkuster.
Here is an image of M101 that I made with the same timelapse app and the same lens, using 100 shots of 30 seconds at 210mm. Here no problem with losing manual focus.
